Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research
Visiting Fellowship and Doctoral Internship Programmes
Established by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) in August 1999, the Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research (HKIMR) conducts research in the fields of monetary policy, banking and finance that are of strategic importance to Hong Kong and the Asia region. The Institute's objectives are to i) promote research on longer-term and wider policy issues/options of relevance to the monetary and financial development of Hong Kong and the Asia region; ii) foster cooperation and cross-fertilisation of research efforts between academics, analysts and the HKMA research activities, and to establish links and exchanges with research institutes in Hong Kong, the Mainland and the regional economies. The HKIMR accepts applications for positions as Visiting Research Fellow and Doctoral Intern on an ongoing and highly competitive basis.
