THE CENTRAL BANK OF CYPRUS


                          Senior Researchers



     The Central Bank of Cyprus, a member of the Eurosystem,
     wishes to appoint senior researchers in its Economic
     Research Department.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     Specifically, the Central Bank is seeking applications from
     highly qualified economists to undertake research in the
     fields of:


     - Monetary economics
     - Macroeconomics
     - International economics (e.g. exchange rate regimes,
       capital movements)
     - Fiscal policy (e.g. fiscal deficits, macro aspects of
       pensions and taxation)
     - Labour economics
     - Financial stability
     - Financial markets
     - Household finances and wealth
     - Applied econometrics


     Applicants should have at least two years postdoctoral
     research experience either at a central bank, a university
     or a research organisation as well as publications in
     refereed journals.


     The length of appointment will be flexible and will vary
     from one to three years. The salary will be competitive and
     will depend on experience.
