     The Department of Health Policy and Management of Columbia
     University's Mailman School of Public Health seeks
     applicants for a faculty position in Economics/Healthcare
     Finance at the assistant or associate professor level,
     beginning September, 1, 2010.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     We seek scholars with a doctoral degree in economics/
     finance who will be able to conduct research in health
     economics or healthcare financial management and
     teach master-degree courses in healthcare managerial
     accounting and financial management. Teaching experience in
     healthcare managerial accounting and in healthcare
     financial management preferred.



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     All applicants must satisfy the following requirements to
     be considered for the position:


     Tenure track: At the assistant-professor level the
     department requires potential for excellence in teaching
     and research, and ability to secure independent funding.


     Tenure: At the associate-professor level the department
     requires a strong teaching, research, and publication
     record in addition to the ability to secure independent
     funding.
