     invites applications for tenure-track positions at the
     junior faculty level in any field of Economics.



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     Selected candidates will be interviewed at the 2010 ASSA
     Meeting in Atlanta and, depending upon their fields of
     interest, they may be invited to visit and give job talks
     at either the Department of Decision Sciences or the
     Department of Economics; candidates may wish to indicate in
     their applications a preference for one of the two
     departments.


     Contracts will be running for up to seven years (with no
     teaching the first year and subject to renewal after the
     first four years), with the possibility of promotion to a
     tenured position at the end of that period. Knowledge of
     Italian is not required. Responsibilities include teaching
     and, most importantly, productivity in research.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     Applicants should have - or be close to completing - a
     Ph.D. and should have demonstrated strong potential in
     research and teaching.


     Compensation and teaching load will be competitive with
     other top European Schools. Positions might be co-funded by
     the Lombardy Regional Government.
