Assistant Professorship
The Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics
(INO) at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is hiring
assistant professors in the economics and management of
innovation and entrepreneurship. The assistant
professorship is a three year tenure-track position with
research and teaching obligations.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Copenhagen Business School has around 18,000 students and
an annual intake of around 1,000 international exchange
students. With this number of students as well as around
500 full-time researchers, CBS is one of the three largest
business schools in Northern Europe, covering a wide range
of business-related academic fields.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
INO has a stimulating research culture with many productive
scholars, and is home to research centers such as Biotech
Business, Blue Denmark, and DRUID. INO hosts the CBS
Research Environment in Open Innovation and the Danish
User-centered Innovation Lab. The INO faculty has in the
recent past published in leading academic journals such as
Cambridge Journal of Economics, California Management
Review, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of
Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic
Geography, Management Science, Organization Science,
Research Policy, Journal of Product Innovation Management,
Strategic Management Journal and Strategic Organization.
INO hosts the Editorial office of the journal Industry &
Innovation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should hold, or be close to completing, a PhD
from an accredited institution. They should have a strong
research record or potential in the area of innovation and
entrepreneurship preferably with strong skills in empirical
analysis. Teaching experience and an interest in developing
courses and programs is expected.
