The ANU School of Economics, College of Business and
Economics, is seeking to make up to four senior
appointments at the Professorial level, to maintain and
develop its reputation for excellence in research and high
quality teaching. The School of Economics includes
specialists in microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic
theory, applied economics, econometrics and economic
history. The position is permanent, Grade Level E.
Closing Date is 5 August 2009.
The Australian National University is one of the world's

education and research in business and economics.
JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Applications are invited from women and men who have a
strong record in scholarly research and teaching and the
successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the
leadership of academics within the College and the School.
You will also play a key role in maintaining and developing
performance in research and teaching, and participate in
administrative activities in the School and the wider
University community.
Applicants should have a relevant PhD, have attained
recognition at an international level in their research and
have appropriate teaching experience and expertise.
The position will be available from January 2010, or such
other date that is mutually agreed.
SALARY:
Salary Package I: A$156,664 - A$166,142 pa (incl. 17 percent
superannuation)
Market based salary loadings may be payable subject to
University Policy
