                    Assistant/Associate Professor



     The Department of Economics at Simon Fraser University
     seeks to fill one position either at the senior assistant
     professor level (tenure track) or at the associate
     professor level (with tenure). The expected starting date
     is September 1, 2010 and the position is subject to
     budgetary approval and approval by the Board of Governors.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     The Department has a special interest in candidates with a
     strong empirical focus in applied fields, but strong
     candidates in every field will be given serious
     consideration. Excellence in research and teaching are the
     primary criteria for this position. Applicants must hold a
     PhD degree and be well qualified to teach at the PhD level
     although teaching at all levels is expected.
