Lecturer in Economics
The School of Business, Economics and Public Policy is a
leader in research and teaching of Economics, Agricultural
and Resource Economics, Public Policy, Accounting,
Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance and
Management. The School is seeking to appoint an academic
staff member in the position of Economics. The person must
be appropriately qualified with relevant academic
experience to teach and undertake research in Economics.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The appointee will be expected to develop and contribute to
reviews of coursework units and to undertake some
administrative duties. The appointee will also be expected
to pursue an active research program, including supervision
of research students and pursuit of external research
funding, and demonstrate an ability to incorporate
international relevancy in teaching. The appointee may be
expected to teach large first year classes. An ability to
contribute to an interdisciplinary team approach is highly
desirable.
Consideration may be given to filling this position on a
less than full-time basis.

SALARY:
$AUD68,796 to $AUD81,535 per annum (Lecturer)
plus 17 percent employer superannuation and optional salary
packaging
