Faculty Positions
The Faculty of Economics at Chulalongkorn University is
inviting applications for new faculty with strong records
in research and teaching. Rank is open, dependent on
qualifications. Outstanding candidates in all fields are
encouraged to apply.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY:
Chulalongkorn University is Thailand's first institution of
higher education founded nearly a century ago, located in
the heart of Bangkok. As a national intellectual center,
the university produces the finest quality graduates with a
high level of knowledge and skills in the arts and sciences
that they can use to contribute to society.
ABOUT THE FACULTY:
The Faculty has an establishment of 60 full-time faculty,
which is committed to excellence in teaching and research.
Faculty members are encouraged to undertake higher-level
training and participate in seminars and workshops abroad.
Applied research and policy research are two specialties
for which the Faculty is most reputed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
We seek applicants with completed PhD degrees (or be close
to completion) in Economics or a related field. Applicants
should demonstrate potential for excellent research and
have a commitment to quality teaching. Applicants must also
have an ability and desire to work effectively with a
diverse community, as well as excellent communication
skills.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Junior applications should be accompanied by curriculum
vita, at least one research paper, and at least three
reference letters. Senior applications should be
accompanied by curriculum vita, examples of published
research, and names of at least three references.
The search will continue until the positions are filled.
