Professor of International Economics
The University of St. Gallen, Switzerland - a leading
University in Business Administration, Economics, Law and
Social Sciences - seeks to appoint a Professor of
International Economics (JEL codes F) by August 1, 2010 or
mutual agreement.
JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant has a strong publication record in
a field of international economics and a high level of
teaching competence. Furthermore, she/he should have a
demonstrated interest in international economic policy
making. Teaching responsibilities are within the
"International Affairs" and "Economics" programs at all
levels (Bachelor, Master and PhD programs), and potentially
within the "Law & Economics" Master program.
Depending on the experience and academic record of the
applicant, the position can be filled at a full or
associate professor level.
Applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship
will be considered for candidates with several years of
experience after receiving their doctoral degrees.
