Lecturer/Associate Professor in Macroeconomics
The Nottingham School of Economics invites applications
from suitably qualified candidates for the above post,
available from 1 September 2009, or as soon as possible
thereafter. Candidates with research and teaching interests
in any area of macroeconomics (including money and
macroeconomics, and development macroeconomics) are
encouraged to apply.

The School is one of the premier research and teaching
Departments for economics in Europe (ranked third in the UK
on research power and sixth on grade point quality in the
most recent Research Assessment Exercise), with an
international reputation for excellence in teaching and
research scholarship of the highest quality across all
areas of the discipline. The successful candidate will be
expected to add to these strengths.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates at the Associate Professor level must have an
established international research reputation with an
excellent publications record in high quality outlets. Full

SALARY:
Salary, depending on qualifications and experience, will be
within the range:
- Lecturer scale: Pound 32,458 - Pound 43,622 per annum
(salary can progress to Pound 50,569 per annum, subject
to performance).
- Associate Professor scale: Pound 46,278 - Pound 55,259
per annum (salary can progress to Pound 65,965 per annum,
subject to performance).
