     long since surpassed that expectation, and now enjoys a
     reputation as a world-leading centre for research on
     globalisation, trade and international economics.

     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     The role of GEP Director forms an integral part of the
     School's objective to further enhance the Centre's standing

       globalisation and international trade;
     - Securing international visibility for GEP and the
       Nottingham School of Economics as a centre of research
       excellence;
     - Creating career paths for next generation of academic
       researchers;
     - Contributing to popular debates in key area of
       globalisation;
     - Building a genuinely global research presence for GEP
       through the development of activities on Nottingham's
       international campuses in Malaysia and China.

     The GEP Centre Director will enjoy operational support
     from an exceptional administrative team, leaving space to
     provide strategic leadership to an outstanding group of
     researchers, to shape the Centre's research activities,
     and to identify its future research priorities.
