             Full Professorship in International Economics
                    and Monetary Theory and Policy


      Karl-Franzens-University of Graz, Austria, School of Social
      and Economics Studies, invited applications for a Full
      Professorship starting on October 1, 2008 in International
      Economics and Monetary Theory and Policy.


      JOB DESCRIPTION:

      The holder of the chair is expected to represent this field
      in research and teaching and to contribute to the distinct
      research profile of the School. He or she is expected to
      closely collaborate with the "Graz Schumpeter Centre".


      JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

      Applicants should have an outstanding publication record in
      the field, including, in particular, articles in peer-
      reviewed high-quality and international journals. In
      addition, they are expected to have excellent international
      research contacts and to be willing and able to raise
      external funds for research projects. Applicants are
      required to hold the degree of habilitation or to have
      equivalent academic credentials. They also need to
      demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence at both the
      undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, management
      competence in gender mainstreaming is expected.
