               Organization and Institutional Economics


     The Karl-Franzens-University of Graz, Austria, Faculty of
     Social and Economic Studies invites applications in the
     area of Managerial Economics for a Full Professorship from
     1 October 2008 in Organization and Institutional Economics.


     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     The holder of the chair is expected to represent this field
     in research and teaching and to contribute to the distinct
     research profile of the Faculty. He or she is expected to
     closely collaborate with the two research centers, the
     "Center for Accounting Research" and the "Graz Schumpeter
     Centre".


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     Applicants are required to have earned a habilitation or
     have equivalent academic credentials. They also must have a
     record of teaching performance. Applicants should have an
     outstanding publication record in the field, including in
     particular articles in high-quality and international
     journals. In addition, they are expected to have good
     international research contacts and to be willing and able
     to raise external funds for research projects. Applicants
     are expected to have leadership competencies in gender
     mainstreaming. The University of Graz is committed to the
