                     Assistant Professorship in
               Financial Management/Corporate Finance


     The Department of Business Administration at the
     Universitat Bern/Switzerland invites applications for an
     Assistant Professorship in the Area of Financial
     Management/Corporate Finance starting with the Fall
     semester 2008.


     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     The position involves teaching and empirical research in
     the area of financial management/corporate finance.
     Teaching should address, if possible, topics in
     international finance, risk management, or corporate
     governance. Classes can be given in English or German.
     Teaching load is 4 hours per week and semester.


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     Candidates should have a Ph.D. or an equivalent
     qualification.

     Pay is according to the compensation guidelines for
     assistant professors of the Canton of Bern. The University
     encourages applications from women.

     Employment is for the duration of four years. Under special
     circumstances, it can be extended by at most two more
     years.
