                         Senior Researchers


     The Central Bank of Cyprus, a member of the Eurosystem,
     wishes to appoint senior researchers in its Economic
     Research Department.


     JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

     Specifically, the Central Bank is seeking applications from
     highly qualified economists to undertake research in the
     fields of:

     - monetary economics
     - macroeconomics
     - international economics
     - financial markets/financial stability
     - labour economics
     - applied econometrics
     - household finances and wealth

     Applicants should have at least two years postdoctoral
     research experience either at a central bank, a university
     or a research organisation as well as publications in
     refereed journals.


     APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

     The length of appointment will be flexible and will vary
     from one to three years. Salary will be competitive and
     will depend on experience. Applications should be submitted
     in English and should include a CV, samples of recent
     research work as well as three letters of recommendation.
