                          Research Interns


     The Central Bank of Cyprus, a member of the Eurosystem,
     wishes to appoint research interns in its Economic Research
     Department.


     JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

     Specifically, the Central Bank is seeking applications from
     individuals who are studying for a PhD in economics and
     would like to spend a short period at the Central Bank of
     Cyprus doing research in one of the following fields:

     - monetary economics
     - macroeconomics
     - international economics
     - financial markets/financial stability
     - labour economics
     - applied econometrics
     - household finances and wealth.


     APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

     The length of appointment will be flexible and will vary
     from three to twelve months. Applications should be
     submitted in English and should include a CV, samples of
     research work as well as two letters of recommendation.
