Swiss Leading House on the Economics of Education, Firm Behaviour and Training Policies "3rd Course Programme for Doctoral Students in "Economics of Education"

The Swiss Leading House on "Economics of Education, Firm Behaviour and Training Policies" offers its 3rd Course Programme for Doctoral Students in "Economics of Education".

ABOUT THE LEADING HOUSE: The Leading House is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). It is directed by Prof. Dr. Uschi Backes-Gellner (University of Zurich) and Prof. Dr. Stefan C. Wolter (University of Bern).

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: The course programme consists of four core courses and a variety of electives. As in the 1st and the 2nd programme, we were able to win a number of prominent faculty members from leading research universities. The courses are taught as one week intensive courses at the University of Zurich or at the University of Berne to make it possible for doctoral students from other universities to participate in the programme. Courses are free of charge for students who pass the selection process.

TARGET GROUP: Students who are working on a dissertation in the field and who are interested in a PhD-like course programme that satisfies international standards and qualifies for a career in academia, or in the business or political arena.

DEADLINES:
Application deadline is August 15, 2013.
Candidates will be notified by September 23, 2013.
