Notice of Meeting and Call For Papers
13th OxMetrics User Conference
5-6 September 2013, CREATES, Aarhus University, Fuglesangs Alle 4, 8210 Aarhus V, Denmark
This is the first announcement and call for papers for the 13th OxMetrics User Conference to be held at CREATES on Thursday and Friday, 5 and 6 September 2013. The conference is co-organised with Timberlake Consultants.
The OxMetrics User Conference provides a forum for the presentation and exchange of research results and practical experiences within the fields of computational and financial econometrics, empirical economics, time series and cross-section statistics and applied mathematics. The conference programme will feature keynote presentations, contributed paper sessions, poster sessions, and a panel discussion with the OxMetrics developers. This year the Ana Timberlake Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Professor Russell Davidson, McGill University. The conference is open to all those interested, not just to OxMetrics users, from academic and non-academic organisations.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: If you are interested in presenting a paper, please submit by e-mail to Niels Haldrup (nhaldrup@creates.au.dk), a 100-200 word abstract and paper on any issue that contributes to the conference theme by 31st May 2013. The programme of the conference will be released by end-July 2013. Consult the web page for updates of the conference: http://www.creates.au.dk
REGISTRATION/ACCOMMODATIONS: Online registration is now available at: http://www.kongreskompagniet.dk/oxmetrics. There will be a small conference fee: 100 euro if full payment of registration is received by 31st July 2013 or 150 euro if full payment of registration is received after 31st July 2013 to cover costs for coffee, teas, luncheons and conference dinner on the 5th of September 2013. The conference fee will be waived for presenters.
