FEG-JEMFT Call for Papers
Symposium of the Journal of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade
Special issue on Sustainable Markets and Governance in Journal of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (JEMFT)
We are delighted to announce that the Financial Econometrics Group (FEG), School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, at Deakin University and the Journal of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (JEMFT) are jointly organising a two day symposium on Sustainable Markets and Governance on 28-29 November 2013.
TOPICS: We welcome submissions of papers in all areas of finance, sustainable financial markets and governance relating to emerging markets. Normally, we would expect empirical papers to focus on factors that affect financial development and growth in emerging and developing markets, such as co-movements of financial markets, microeconomic drivers of financial markets, financial market volatility in the recent downturn, balance of payment and capital flows, financial market imperfections, derivative and fixed income instruments, amongst others.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Interested authors should send an extended abstract of 500 words by 1st June 2013, and completed papers by end of 30th September 2013. All abstracts/papers should be sent to blaeffeg@deakin.edu.au. Submissions to the symposium should not be under review with any other journal. All papers will be refereed and decisions on accepted papers will be conveyed to authors by 5th October 2013. Subject to satisfactory revisions, selected papers meeting the highest quality will be published in a Special Issue of the Journal of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade under the guest editorship of Professor Paresh Kumar Narayan.
The Conference registration fee is USD450.
