The 16th City University's Centre for Competition and Regulatory Policy Workshop will be held at the University of Milan-Bicocca, Milan, Italy, a new and dynamic Italian University situated in the northern area of Milan, Italy.

The Summer CCRP workshop Institute is organized jointly with the Regulatory Policy Institute (RPI) and the Department of Economics, Quantitative Methods and Business Strategy. It will bring together a large spectrum of academics, economists, professionals, lawyers and representatives of governments and other public institutions. The aim is to address and thoroughly discuss key issues of regulatory and antitrust policies analysed from different perspectives. A Competition and Antitrust Policy Round Table will be organized.

TOPICS: We would like to invite you to submit an extended abstract of 4 pages maximum (please try to avoid submitting full papers at the selection stage) of (preferably) workin-progress in any of the following areas:
- Economic Regulation of Public Utilities (including Electricity, Telecoms, Gas, Water and other infrastructure industries such as airports, postal services,etc.)
- Economic Regulation of Financial and Non-Financial Services, including economic regulation of Quasi-Markets (e.g. Health, Education and other public services)
- General, Legal and Industry/Market specific Competition Policy and Antitrust

We would welcome both theoretical and empirical papers, including case study oriented works. We also encourage policy oriented papers dealing with legal and institutional aspects of Regulation and Antitrust in Europe.

Each presenter will have 15-20 minutes to present his/her work followed by comments from an assigned discussant, plus general discussion. If you are willing to act as an assigned discussant, please let the organizing committee know at the time of your submission.
