Fondation Banque Centrale du Luxembourg - Prize For Best PhD Thesis

The Fondation Banque centrale du Luxembourg is offering a Euro 2 000 prize for the best doctoral thesis defended between 1st January 2012 and 31st December 2012.

DESCRIPTION: The prize is intended to distinguish a thesis analysing financial stability (if possible with an application to Luxembourg). The prize is open to all PhD degrees, although preference may be given to those awarded by the Universite de Luxembourg, or awarded to Luxembourg residents by foreign universities. The evaluation committee will be made up of experts selected by the Council of the Fondation Banque centrale du Luxembourg. Every thesis will be evaluated by two referees.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Applications (in English, French or German) must include:
- CV including the candidate's addresses, for eventual contact early April;
- copy of the thesis dissertation;
- report indicating successful defence as prepared by the jury or the university;
- brief summary focussed on the original results in the thesis intended for publication in academic journals;
- at least one paper drawn from the thesis and intended for publication;
