Call for Papers
3rd Conference on Recent Developments in Macroeconomics

Mannheim, June 27-28, 2012

The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the University of Mannheim are jointly organising the third conference on "Recent Developments in Macroeconomics" on June 27 and 28, 2012, in Mannheim, Germany.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:
- Volker Wieland (University of Frankfurt)
- Jean Pisani-Ferry (Paris-Dauphine University, BRUEGEL)

The conference programme will include keynote addresses as well as presentations of contributed papers. The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the University of Mannheim invite the submission of theoretical as well as empirical work. We particularly encourage the submission of papers dealing with global imbalances and their linkages to the financial crisis. An additional focus will be on the economic and fiscal integration in Europe, international economics, monetary policy, and macroeconometrics. Submissions of papers in other areas are welcome, too.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts including the following information: Title, At least two JEL codes, Name(s) of the author(s), Affiliation, Contact information. Please submit contributions as PDF to: macro-conference@zew.de no later than April 15, 2012. Notification of successful submissions: May 2, 2012.

FURTHER INFORMATION: No conference fee will be charged for presenters. The conference fee for participants not presenting a paper is Euro 100. The fee covers conference materials, coffee breaks, the lunch break, and the conference dinner. Please note that all participants have to cover their accommodation and travel expenses themselves.
