18th International Panel Data Conference
Paris, July 5-6, 2012
The Banque de France is happy to announce that it will host the 18th International Panel Data Conference in its new conference centre, in the very heart of Paris. This will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the very first conference on panel data econometrics ever, organized in 1977 at INSEE (Paris), as well as the 25th anniversary of the first conference of the current series of International Panel Data Conferences, organized in 1987 at Paris-Val de Marne University by ERUDITE, an academic research centre that focuses on panel data econometrics.
OVERVIEW: The aim of the conference is to bring together economists, econometricians, statisticians and social scientists who are interested in or are working on panel data issues. The program will consist of invited and contributed papers that cover a broad spectrum of theoretical and applied panel data research. Keynote speakers will include Christian Gourieroux, Jerry Hausman, Franz Palm, Matthew Shapiro and Jean-Pierre Urbain.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Submissions of paper are already possible at: https://editorialexpress.com/conference/IPDC18. The submission deadline is March 31st, 2012. Only full papers will be considered by the program committee.
You will receive a notification, once your paper is accepted or rejected by April 15th, 2012. All presenters must register for the Conference before May 15th, 2012. TRAVEL GRANTS: A few travel grants covering part of the travel expenses for young scholars and speakers from developing countries will be available (more details will be provided soon).
