CALL FOR PAPERS


                      NETSPAR PENSION WORKSHOP


                         January 27-29, 2010
                     Amsterdam, The Netherlands



     This workshop is organized by Netspar, the Network for
     Studies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement. The network was
     initiated by Dutch universities with expertise in this
     field as well as by Dutch insurance companies, pension
     funds, public sector organization and the Dutch government.
     By now many international researchers have joined the

     The workshop starts with a training day (Wednesday 27), the
     second and third days will be in the form of an academic
     conference with contributed papers. Mike Orszag (Watson
     Wyatt Partners) and Laurence Kotlikoff (Boston University)
     are the two keynote speakers at this workshop.



     TOPICS:


     For the academic conference day, we invite contributed
     papers from all fields of pension economics. Topics of
     interest are, among others:


     - Macroeconomic aspects of ageing and retirement;
     - Investment and savings decisions for retirement
     - Institutional aspects and investment decisions of pension
       funds and financial institutions
     - Ageing and health



     PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:


     Researchers interested in participating, either to present
     or to discuss a paper, are requested to submit an abstract
     or a complete paper to:

     Young researchers (postdocs and PhD students) are
     particularly invited to present their work. Netspar has
     made funding available that covers accommodation and travel
     expenses (economy based) for all speakers and discussants.
     Participants are encouraged to stay for the full three days
     of the workshop.
