CALL FOR PAPERS
3RD ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON THE POLITICAL ECONOMY OF
INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Georgetown University, Washington, DC
28-30 January, 2010
We invite submissions for the 3rd annual conference on the
political economy of international organizations. The
conference will bring together economists, political
scientists and other scholars to address political economy
issues related to any international organization, including
the UN, IMF, World Bank, WTO, and EU, as well as other
regional organizations and NGOs. The conference aims to be
international in character. Previous PEIO conferences
included contributors from six continents.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Submit full papers, both empirical and theoretical, to:

by September 30, 2009. Acceptance decisions will be made by
October 31, 2009. A special issue of the Review of
International Organizations (Springer) will be devoted to
papers from the conference, subject to the usual refereeing
process. (Submission to the special issue is not mandatory,
but if you are interested, please indicate this on the
title page.)
CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE, ACCOMMODATION, AND REGISTRATION:
Authors of accepted papers are expected to attend all
conference sessions. (A small number of additional
participants may attend by invitation only; the conference
is closed to the public.) Authors are expected to cover
their own expenses. Partial refunding of expenses for
authors from developing countries can be considered on
request following acceptance of the paper. There is no
registration fee.
