       THE POVERTY REDUCTION, EQUITY AND GROWTH NETWORK (PEGNet)
                           ANNUAL CONFERENCE

                             Accra (Ghana)
                          11-12 September 2008


     The Poverty Reduction, Equity and Growth Network (PEGNet)
     will hold its annual conference at the La Palm Royal
     Conference Centre, Accra (Ghana), on 11-12 September
     2008.

     Focusing on the role of 'Impact Evaluation', this year's
     PEGNet Conference aims at providing a platform for
     discussing the policy implications of recent research
     findings. The two conference days will feature sessions
     with invited and contributed papers, round tables and
     keynote speeches by renowned speakers from academia as well
     as operations. The conference is organised by the Institute
     of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), the
     Centre for Policy Analysis (CEPA), the Kiel Institute for
     the World Economy (IfW), the German Ministry for Economic
     Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the German Technical
     Cooperation (GTZ).
