Emerging Markets: Economics distributes working and accepted paper abstracts in the full range of subjects that comprise the economics of emerging markets. Topics include economic and financial developments in transitional economies and developing countries; rapid opening out, changes in financial flows, and evolving markets and regulation in emerging economies; the relation between emerging and international capital markets; detailed country studies that address critical policy issues and have significant and regional implications; contagion and integration of financial markets, as well as analyses of corporate governance and corporate behavior in the context of emerging economies. Geographical coverage includes newly emerging market economies in Europe, the former Soviet Union, and the Middle East, as well as Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
