Faculty Position
The Department of Accounting in the Leavey School of
Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for
a tenure-track faculty position to begin Fall 2008. Rank is
open.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
All research areas will be considered, but priority will be
given to applicants with teaching interest in
Managerial/Cost. Candidates for Assistant Professor should
have completed or nearly completed their Ph.D., and must
demonstrate capacity to undertake scholarly research
publishable in leading journals and be able to provide
quality teaching. Candidates for senior positions should
demonstrate a substantial research record and evidence of
teaching excellence.

Santa Clara University is a private university located in

year. The Leavey School of Business is nationally ranked in
various categories. Business Week ranks the Undergraduate
Business Program #27 in the U.S. The MBA program is ranked

and finance such as The Accounting Review, Journal of
Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics,
Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting
Research, Journal of Financial Economics, and Journal of
Financial and Quantitative Analysis. We offer a collegial
