The Accounting Department of the Stern School invites
highly qualified candidates to apply for tenure-track
positions at the Assistant Professor level commencing in
September 2008.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must demonstrate an interest in and ability to
conduct high quality accounting research and to teach
successfully in the Stern School's highly ranked
undergraduate and M.B.A. programs. Candidates must expect
to complete doctoral degree requirements by the end of
2008. All accounting research areas will be considered.
ABOUT THE STERN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS:
Founded in 1900 as the School of Commerce, Finance, and
Accounts, the Stern School of Business is located in the
heart of Greenwich Village in Manhattan. The Stern School
offers undergraduate business, full-time, part-time and
executive M.B.A., Ph.D., and other degrees. The environment
is research oriented. Salary, teaching load, and research
facilities and support are highly competitive.
