Lectureship in Financial Reporting
The University of Cambridge invites applications for this
tenure track position (similar to assistant professorship).
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION:
Cambridge University heads most rankings of European
universities by research. It is a short train journey to
the City of London, Europe's leading financial centre. The
University has finance specialists in its Faculties of
Economics, Land Economy, Law and Mathematics, and a growing
group in Judge Business School, where these posts are
based. The Faculties collaborate under the umbrella
organisation, Cambridge Finance. The University has a
British Pound 18 million Cambridge Endowment for Research
in Finance to support its financial research.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Evidence of outstanding research potential is essential.
The appointee will be expected to contribute to core
teaching: programmes include the pre-experience MPhil in
Finance, a new post-experience Master of Finance, and the
MBA. Teaching loads are relatively light (70 hours p.a.);
and sabbatical on full pay is provided one term in seven.
The Business School is developing its finance and financial
reporting group rapidly, and faculty are expected to
contribute enthusiastically to building a leading group.
