                  Faculty Positions in Accounting


     The Department of Accounting and Finance, established in
     1972, is a highly successful research-led department in the
     beautiful central region of Scotland. The department wishes
     to make appointments at Lecturer and Senior Lecturer
     levels: two appointments will be permanent and one fixed
     term for four years in the first instance.


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND DESCRIPTION:

     Applications are invited from candidates with a passion for
     research, preferably in one of the areas of department
     expertise: corporate reporting (including international
     dimensions), auditing and corporate governance, corporate
     finance or accounting history. Candidates for Lecturer will
     have a good honours degree and a relevant PhD, or very
     nearly-completed PhD. Candidates for Senior Lecturer will
     have a good and developing track record of high quality
     research, as well as a desire to supervise PhD students and
     to obtain research grant income.
