        Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting/Taxation

      American University, Kogod School of Business invites
      applications and nominations for a tenure-track appointment
      in accounting/taxation at the rank of assistant or
      associate professor, beginning Fall 2009.


      JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

      Applicants should have a Ph.D. in accounting or taxation.
      Alternatively, the applicant should anticipate completing
      the degree within a very short period following initial
      employment. Candidates must be effective teachers and
      should be strongly committed to scholarly research.


      JOB DESCRIPTION:

      Responsibilities include undergraduate and masters-level
      teaching, active engagement in scholarly research and
      participation in department, school and university
      activities.
