Georgia State University invites applications for multiple position openings at all levels (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) effective fall 2014. All areas of specialization will be considered with a preference for auditing, financial accounting, and managerial accounting.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Accounting (or related field) or equivalent from an AACSB accredited university and high potential for research and teaching. Candidates for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor should have a national reputation based on current research record in top-quality journals. Exceptional candidates who are eminent scholars with international reputations may also be considered for appointment to a chair or professorship. Candidates for more senior positions should have demonstrated ability to develop and work with others in defining and conducting meaningful research and mentoring junior faculty; these positions will enhance the research capability of the School of Accountancy and will play leadership roles in the SOA. Positions are contingent on budget approval.
