Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting

The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto invites applications from qualified individuals with an emerging or established record of excellence in research and teaching for a full-time tenure-stream appointment in Accounting. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and will commence July 1, 2014.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for the Assistant Professor position must have a Ph.D. in Accounting by September 1, 2014 or shortly thereafter. Applicants for the Associate position must have an emerging or developed scholarly reputation. We are interested in individuals with an excellent and active research record and the ability to become an excellent instructor in our flagship MBA program or in our other programs. We are particularly interested in candidates who can successfully teach management accounting in our MBA program; however, we are also interested in applicants with other teaching interests. In addition to the MBA program, Rotman offers undergraduate programs as well as a highly successful Ph.D. program in accounting.

Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
