Assistant Professor of Accounting

Bocconi University (http://www.unibocconi.it) is one of the most renowned and prestigious universities in Europe in the fields of Economics, Management and Law. It numbers about 300 tenured faculty members plus almost 700 other teachers and lecturers. The student body consists of about 8,000 undergraduate students and 5,000 graduate students.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Accounting Department at Bocconi University has tenure-track positions open at the level of Assistant Professor. Positions will begin in Spring or Fall 2014. The teaching load for Assistant Professors is 105 hours (1 hour = 45 min.) per year. Courses are to be taught in English. Knowledge of Italian is not required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have a completed (or close to be completed) PhD with focus on Accounting. Applicants are expected to have a demonstrated potential for, or history of, outstanding research and strong teaching skills.
