Faculty Position in Accounting

The A. B. Freeman School of Business is seeking applicants for Accounting faculty positions at all ranks. These are full-time appointments in the School's accounting area. Named professorships are potentially available for appointments at full professor. Named fellowships are potentially available for associate professor appointments. All positions are to start July 1, 2014. Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. in accounting or related discipline. Salary, teaching load and research support are commensurate with other major research institutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: We seek candidates who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship and program leadership. In terms of teaching, we seek candidates who have strong teaching skills at all student levels, undergraduate and graduate. We will consider candidates with any research interests in any accounting area. However, preference may be given to those candidates with interests in financial reporting. The accounting faculty at the Freeman School has expanded recently and is projected to continue growing.
