Faculty Position in Accounting
The Culverhouse School of Accountancy invites applications for a
tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level beginning
August 16, 2014.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have an earned doctorate,
by the start of the appointment, and exhibit the capacity for
research publishable in top-tier accounting journals, and excellence
in teaching.
Experienced candidates with proven research and teaching excellence
are encouraged to apply.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The faculty member can expect to teach undergraduate
and graduate level accounting courses. The faculty member will have
the ability to work with doctoral students, and will engage in
University, College, and Departmental service activities. We welcome
applications in all areas of accounting research and teaching. Our
greatest teaching needs are in accounting information systems and
managerial accounting.
Salary is competitive.
