Associate or Full Professor of Accounting
The University of New Hampshire's Peter T. Paul College of Business And Economics invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor of Accounting to start in the Fall 2014 semester. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in Accounting, attained the rank of Associate or Full Professor of Accounting, gained significant experience at an AACSB accredited school, a distinguished track record of publication in leading journals, evidence of strong teaching performance, and a record of effective leadership demonstrated through service in departmental, school, university, or professional association roles. Experience developing academic programs or working with industry is desirable. The candidate hired will assist with oversight of the accounting programs, mentor accounting faculty, and develop a plan to earn separate AACSB accreditation for UNH's accounting programs.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and rank. Support for research is provided through a subscription to Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) and a number of financial databases, including CRSP, Compustat, IBES, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, RiskMetrics/IRRC, Eventus, and ExecuComp.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE: The Paul College accounting faculty offer highly regarded undergraduate and MS accounting programs and also provide accounting courses for other undergraduate and MBA programs. Approximately two-thirds of the accounting courses are at the undergraduate level. In January 2013, the college moved into a new $50 million building with state-of-the-art teaching technology to accommodate our planned growth. The Paul College is located on the main campus of the University of New Hampshire, on the edge of Great Bay with the ocean just 10 miles to the east. Boston, with its rich academic resources, is located 70 miles south, while the White Mountain National Forest is 50 miles to the north.
