The Department of Accounting in the Eller College of Management invites applications for a tenure-eligible Assistant Professor or tenured Associate Professor. The Department is seeking beginning or experienced individuals who are able to work with diverse students and colleagues, and who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Applicant will be expected to teach various undergraduate and graduate accounting classes. In addition, applicant will be actively involved in research. Research standards are high and the emphasis is on continuing research. Preference will be given to research or teaching related to entrepreneurship, strategy, or other executive education/MBA topics.

We expect our senior faculty to be well-established in their field and to maintain a high quality teaching and research agenda. Senior faculty are expected to contribute significantly on the service dimension, meeting the needs of both the department and college and to enhance their external stature.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Assistant Professor, tenure-eligible: Applicants for this position are expected to have completed their doctoral degree requirements before starting the beginning of the contract period. However, those who have not completed these requirements will also be considered, but at the rank of instructor.

Associate Professor, tenured: Applicants for this position are expected to have an established record of high quality research and the emphasis is on continuing research. Only those with a proven record of high quality teaching will be considered.
