Trustee Professor, Accountancy
The Accountancy Department at Bentley University is seeking
applications for a Trustee Professor, beginning September 2014 (Full
Time Faculty, Division: AA - Academic Affairs).
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Trustee Professor is expected to contribute to
Bentley's research environment by publishing in top quality journals,
and by taking a leadership role in mentoring junior faulty and
doctoral students. Teaching will be focused primarily at the graduate
level, and includes service on doctoral dissertation committees. We
expect the Trustee Professor to perform service to accounting
academia through leadership roles.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The strongest candidates will have an outstanding
record of scholarship, an ongoing and high quality research program,
and an international reputation. Particular consideration will be
given to scholars whose research has potential synergies with current
Bentley University Accountancy faculty and doctoral students.
Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in teaching
accounting, primarily at the graduate level. Details such as
the term of the Professorship are open, depending on experience and
