Junior Research Position in Business Economics

NHH (http://www.nhh.no/en/home.aspx) invites candidates to apply for a four-year assistant professor/postdoctoral research position at the Department of Business and Management Science ( http://www.nhh.no/en/research-faculty/department-of-business-and-management-science.aspx ).

JOB DESCRIPTION: NHH intends to strengthen its expertise in business economics. Research topics of interest are capital budgeting, risk management and insurance, operating decisions, budgeting and forecasting, valuation, organizational economics and incentive theory. The position is open for applicants with both empirical and theoretical research interests. Teaching languages at the school are English and Norwegian. In order to qualify for a permanent position at a later stage, basic knowledge of Norwegian is required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a strong research potential and have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in Business economics, Finance, Accounting or Economics. Research quality will be assessed on the basis of publications, discussion papers and work in progress.

The teaching load is very competitive and the salary is comparable to other European business schools. The person hired will be part of the Department of Business and Management Science at NHH.
