Senior Lecturer, Full-Time, in Accounting (Search #: AA3417)

The School of Business at the University of Washington Bothell invites applications for a full-time position as a Senior Lecturer in Accounting. The appointment will become effective in the fall of 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The appointee will be required to teach a variety of courses in accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels, depending on the program needs. Typical course load is 7-8 quarter courses per academic year. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in and commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education. Candidate should have professional accounting certification as a CPA and an advanced business degree. Professional experience at a senior managerial level such as CFO is a distinct plus. Compensation package is competitive.

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY: The University of Washington Bothell campus is located 15 miles northeast of downtown Seattle. We have a growing, state-of-the-art, high-tech campus in Bothell. The School of Business offers BA and MBA programs at the Bothell campus and its Eastside Leadership Center in Bellevue, WA. The school boasts a nationally-ranked MBA program which draws students from companies such as Microsoft, Boeing, Expedia, Philips and Starbucks. In addition, we offer day and evening undergraduate classes at both locations. The candidate should expect to teach at both our Bellevue and Bothell campuses. All University faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
