Florida Atlantic University School of Accounting invites applications for one non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Instructor starting August 2013. The College of Business at FAU is accredited by the AACSB. The School of Accounting offers B.B.A., Masters of Accounting, Masters of Taxation, M.B.A. and PhD degrees to over 1,800 undergraduate and graduate accounting students. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Accounting Instructor, non-tenure-track position in the College of Business, is responsible for teaching undergraduate classes and providing service to the department, college, and community. The position will be based on our Davie campus, but may involve teaching and service on our Boca Raton campus. Teaching responsibilities will primarily involve cost accounting and audit areas. The teaching load will be four sections for fall semester and four sections for spring semester.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree in business or accounting, a minimum of 18 credit hours of graduate-level accounting courses from an AACSB-accredited college or university, a current CPA license from any state, and continuous relevant experience sufficient to maintain Professionally Qualified status under AACSB standards. Preference will be given to those qualified in the Cost Accounting and Auditing areas.
