Faculty Positions in Accounting
The School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Waterloo invites applications for tenured or tenure-track positions in Accounting, for an appointment beginning July 1, 2013. The School invites applications from candidates with interests in financial reporting, management accounting, assuarance, tax, or accounting systems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates for the tenured position should have established reputations for high-quality research and teaching, and an interest in contributing to our PhD program. Normally candidates for Assistant Professor should have a PhD or have completed their PhD by the first date of their appointment at the University of Waterloo and should demonstrate the potential for high quality research and teaching.
Since 2008 we have hired 15 new faculty and in 2009 we added over 50,000 square feet of new classrooms and offices. We offer a stimulating environment for research and teaching, and promote intellectual curiosity and growth.
