Assistant or Associate Professor
Applications are invited for a full-time tenure-system faculty position in the Department of Accounting & Information Systems beginning August 2013 at rank of assistant or associate professor without tenure. Teaching and research interests should be in the area of auditing or tax. All successful candidates are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, and supervise graduate students. The applicant is expected to collaborate with colleagues in teaching, research and service activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: PhD in Business. A qualified candidate for the assistant professor position must have a PhD or be in the final stages of their dissertation and demonstrate interest in and capacity to conduct quality scholarly research as well as capacity for high level teaching competence. A qualified candidate for the associate professor position should have a proven record of high quality research and teaching, as well as involvement in doctoral education and curriculum development. Candidates with a prior record of successful research and teaching especially are encouraged to apply.
