Professor of Accounting

The University of St. Gallen, Switzerland - a leading university in Management, Economics, Law, Social Sciences and International Affairs - invites applications for a position as Professor of Accounting by February 1, 2014 or by mutual agreement.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicant has an excellent level of teaching competence as well as a very good publication record in any field of accounting. Teaching responsibilities are primarily within our "Master in Accounting and Finance" program, and require profound teaching capabilities in the English language. The assignment includes the opportunity to become one of the directors at the Institute of Accounting, Control and Auditing.

The appointment status of the position, full professor or tenure-track assistant professor, will be determined by the successful candidate's qualification. For a full professorship, a research record equivalent to that required for a habilitation (post doctoral degree) is expected.

The University is actively seeking to increase the number of female and international scholars among the faculty.
