Assistant Professor of Accounting

The Department of Accountancy invites applications for two probationary (tenure-track) positions at the rank of assistant professor to begin July 1, 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications are a PhD degree in accounting (completed or near completion) and a strong research and teaching record. Principal duties include a commitment to research and publication as well as to teaching in any of the following areas: financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing or taxation.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Accountancy offers a major in accounting as well as courses in the core of the JMSB undergraduate program. It also offers courses in the MBA program, preparatory programs for professional accounting and a PhD program. JMSB has five departments, eight research centres, 8,000 students, and over 37,000 alumni worldwide. The School is accredited by the AACSB. The language of instruction is English.
