Faculty Positions in Accounting

The Krannert School of Management invites applicants for one or more tenure track appointments in accounting beginning Fall 2013. Rank is at either the assistant or associate professor level.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates should have a PhD in accounting, management, or closely-related field. Candidates for an assistant professor position should exhibit the capacity for research publishable in top-tier accounting journals and excellence in teaching. Candidates who expect to earn their PhD by Fall 2013 will be considered. Candidates for an associate professor position should have an established record of excellence in research, teaching, and service. A tenured associate professor appointment is possible for a candidate with an established record of excellence in research, evidence of national and international visibility, excellence in teaching and service and evidence of participation in doctoral student research and mentoring.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will teach financial or managerial accounting to undergraduate and/or graduate students, conduct research in their field of expertise, and participate in other school activities. Opportunities to teach in the executive program may also be available to candidates with prior teaching experience. We offer a competitive compensation package.
