NON-TENURE TRACK POSITIONS: Georgia State University invites applications for multiple non-tenure track position openings effective fall 2013. Areas of need include financial, managerial, auditing, tax, and accounting information systems. Rank is open but we expect to hire at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor (preferred) or Lecturer. Candidates for Clinical Assistant Professor must have demonstrated high-level classroom performance, significant professional experience, the capability for publishing research in refereed journals, and a doctorate in Accounting (or related field) from an AACSB-accredited university or, for teaching tax, a JD and graduate degree in tax/accounting. Candidates for Lecturer must have demonstrated high-level classroom performance, significant professional experience, and at minimum a master's degree in accounting (or related field) from an AACSB-accredited university. Salaries are competitive with significant opportunity for other teaching compensation. Positions are contingent on budget approval.

TENURE TRACK POSITIONS: Georgia State University invites applications for multiple position openings at all levels (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) effective Fall 2013. Areas of need are financial, managerial, auditing, tax, and information systems. Candidates must have a doctorate in Accounting (or related field) from an AACSB accredited university and high potential for strong publication and teaching. Candidates for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor should have a national reputation based on current research record in top-quality journals. Exceptional candidates who are eminent scholars with international reputations may also be considered for appointment to a chair or professorship. Candidates for more senior positions should have demonstrated ability to develop and work with others in defining and conducting meaningful research and mentoring junior faculty; these positions will enhance the research capability of the School of Accountancy and will play leadership roles in the SOA. Salaries are competitive. Positions are contingent on budget approval.
